Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association Exhibition at Rice Museum

CNPA Myrtle Beach

Members of Myrtle Beach Region of the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association (CNPA) present an exhibition at the Rice Museum Prevost Gallery. The exhibit opens with a reception from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013. The public is invited to attend the reception and meet the artists. The exhibit continues through April 27, 2013 during regular museum hours of 10:00 am through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

CNPA is a non-profit organization of nature photographers dedicated to the preservation and teaching of responsible nature photography. There is no charge to view the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association Exhibit. For more information, visit the Rice Museum’s website here.

Rice Museum

The Rice Museum, known locally as The Town Clock, is located in the Old Market Building and is a prominent symbol of Georgetown County. Through dioramas, maps, artifacts and other exhibits, visitors to the Museum are enlightened to the history of a society dependent on the rice crop.

Located in the Kaminski Hardware Building is the Prevost Gallery. Rotating exhibits provide visitors interesting and topical exhibits of art and history, featuring artwork from local artists.
