Celebrating the Season in Dance

 

The Cultural Council of Georgetown County presents Litchfield Dance Arts Academy in Celebrating the Season in Dance. The annual holiday show features show tunes, classical ballet, and excerpts from The Nutcracker.

The purpose of Litchfield Dance Arts Academy is to offer top quality professional training in an environment of enrichment and discovery. Mastery of dance skills develops self-confidence, poise, strength and self-control. Whether taking classes for enjoyment or planning for a future career, LDAA students learn the tradition of the art form as well as the current trends of the professional dance world. Class offerings include: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, preschool dance classes, adult classes, and more.

Celebrating the Season in Dance takes place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Winyah Auditorium in Georgetown. Admission is free; a $10 donation supports Youth Arts Initiatives. Additional performances take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Litchfield Dance Arts Academy Studio in Pawleys Island. Admission is $15 and free for children 12 and under.
