The Myrtle Beach Art Museum presents Dia de los Muertos Free Family Day, a Mexican-American celebration for all ages. Festivities include: an altar in honor of Mexican artist Alfredo Zalce, family workshops to create papel picado (paper banners), sugar skulls, marigold garlands, calavera (skull) print totes and masks, Spanish/English translation game, sampling of traditional breads and Mexican hot chocolate, face painting, loteria (bingo), music, children’s literature display, Mexican crafts, videos, authentic Mexican food by Fiesta Mexicana, Alfredo Zalce inspired mural, roving Mariachi Nuevo Guadalajara, traditional dancing with Grupo de Danza Tradiciones, children’s pinata and more.

The event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free. The Myrtle Beach Art Museum is located at 3100 S. Ocean Blvd. For more information, visit the website here.
