Local choirs compete for the title of “Best Choir” on the Grand Strand
The Grand Strand Choir Challenge, sponsored by the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration and Spadoni College of Education, starts at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 and takes place at Wheelwright Auditorium on the Coastal Carolina University campus. In this competition, local choirs vie for the title of “Best Choir” on the Grand Strand, and the winner receives $1,000.
Scott Mann of Wave 104.1 and Paula Caruso of WMBF News will host the Grand Strand Choir Challenge. Proceeds will go to CCU’s Each One Teach One Entrepreneurship Institute, which provides middle and high school students with the tools they need to build prosperous, successful futures in education and entrepreneurship. The Institute’s goal is to inspire tomorrow’s leaders, who will teach the next generation how to succeed.
