The Gullah Geechee Heritage Committee presents the Horry County Gullah Geechee Festival. This 3-day celebration of Gullah Geechee culture offers a variety of activities for attendees.

Friday, August 7, 2015
– Roundtable with Elders at 6:00 p.m.
– Author/Writer Workshop
– Presentation of Film Project: The Inheritage
Saturday, August 8, 2015
– Marketplace opens at 8:30 a.m.
– Panel Discussions at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
– Festivities commence with the North Myrtle Beach High School NJROTC along with children’s games and food vendors at 12:00 p.m.
– Gospel Explosion at 5:00 p.m.
