Long Bay Symphony Presents Regional Influences



The Long Bay Symphony presents Regional Influences. Maestro Charles Jones Evans leads the Long Bay Symphony in a performance of Aaron Copland’s Clarinet Concerto, featuring award-winning clarinetist Narek Arutyunian. Selections include the Overture from Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio, Johann Strauss’ Emperor Waltz, Manuel de Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat, Debussy’s Premiere Rhapsodie for clarinet, and Copland’s jazzy Clarinet Concerto. Hear how these composers wove popular musical elements into their compositions in a concert that promises to excite audiences of all ages.
