2015-Long-Bay-Symphony

The Long Bay Symphony presents Some Enchanted Evening, featuring guest artists Anne Runolfsson and Sal Viviano. Maestro Charles Jones Evans leads the symphony in a performance of a selection of classic songs from The Great American Songbook. Artists from Bing Crosby to Bette Midler have recorded these timeless works by well-known composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. This toe-tapping performance will have you singing along.

Anne Runolfsson recently completed a 2-year run on Broadway as the tempestuous diva, Carlotta Giudacelli in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Phantom of the Opera, the longest running show in Broadway history. Sal Viviano has appeared with over 120 Symphony Orchestras in Pops concerts around the world, currently booking up to 2 years in advance.

The concert takes place on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the MBHS Music and Arts Center. Tickets range from $25 to $50. Student tickets (21 & under with student ID) are $10. To purchase tickets, visit the website here.
