Long Bay Symphony Presents Through a Child’s Eyes

The Long Bay Symphony presents Through a Child’s Eyes with Amanda Horton, soprano. Music is both sincere and expressive when conveying the innocence of youth. You experience this pure spirit in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, which was inspired by a child’s view of the world and heaven. Maurice Ravel offers his own view of a child’s world in his familiar setting of the Mother Goose tales. In a tribute to youth, members of The Long Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra join The Long Bay Symphony in this side-by-side performance of Vaughn Williams’ Concerto Grosso.

The concert takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at MBHS Music & Arts Center, which is located at 3302 Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach. Purchase tickets here.
